In early 2009 around February March Thomas Faurby began writing songs for what was to become The Roboteers. Members were gathered up until recordings began in June 2009 where the first drum tracks were recorded for the debut album. The Roboteers recorded over and over again during the next two years, but in-between released an EP in January 2010 which gave them a 4/6 review in leading Danish music magazine Gaffa. In late 2010 then Bassist Thomas Kring left band, but The Roboteers gained Synth-Bass player Jacob Brøndlund instead. After much work the recordings and mixing finished in February 2011 and the tracks were sent to England to be mastered.

The Roboteers has embarked on a DIY adventure. The whole process of recording, mixing, releasing, promoting the record...everything is handled within the band! as well as booking the shows! This is of course pretty costly in time and money, but we believe that we will reap the benefits of having the freedom to play whatever we want to and to release our music in whatever extent we wish to! We haven't left the dreams of getting a big record deal, but we're not in a hurry and we want things to be done our way...
The debut album is out in store from May 20th 2011.
