When I was a child my parents made me play classical guitar. As I grew older I found that the guitar was more suitable to accompany my singing. As a teenager I started writing songs – in secret – and got an interest for theater as well. Since then both music and theater have been a great part of my life. When it comes to making music, I get inspired by talented female singers with a certain nerve in their voices and the right attitude to fulfill the picture. Some of my all time favorite voices are: Rickie Lee Jones, Debbie Harry (Blondie), P. J. Harvey, Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Feist, Ani Difranco, Joan as Policewoman.
