I grew up listening to Motown and poprock radio of the 1980's, actually just anything my Mom would put on the stereo! In my teens I listened to whatever had a grain of Rock N' Roll in it. Today I listen to all styles of music; Rock, Pop, Hiphop, Electronic, all genres of Metal, World, Jazz... you name it!
There's so many great drummers who have inspired me and among them are Dave Grohl, Matt Sorum, John Bonham, Ian Paice, Stewart Copeland, Phil Collins, John Densmore, Jack Irons, Manu Katché... There's too many to mention!
My experience as a drummer comes from playing in bands... I used to play drums in January Jaunt, Offshore Circus and a lot of smaller projects. I have had a lot of drum teachers and I hold them all in deep regard, for all that they have taught me.
